Even though Bell’s Super Lube is considered to be safe and classified as NOT HAZARDOUS according to the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard, there are some basic safety guidelines that should be followed.

The biggest danger with any light oil is aspiration. This is a condition in which the oil enters the lungs. Usually this occurs if one swallows the oil, then vomits. If the oil is swallowed, DO NOT induce vomiting. If vomiting does occur, lower head below knees to avoid aspiration. Seek medical attention immediately. For individuals with sensitive skin, Bell’s Super Lube may cause slight irritation when in contact with skin. If this condition occurs, wash skin with warm, soapy water to remove the oil. In case of contact with eyes, flush with large amounts of water until irritation subsides.
